Students’ achieved straight A grades
Overall pass rate beats last year
Students from Barnhill Community High in Hayes are to be congratulated for producing a brilliant set of A-Level Exam results. A fantastic 30% of all grades were awarded A* and A; once again surpassing the National Average of 25.9%. The overall pass rate is 98%.
Head of School, Ms Andy Stansfield, is delighted with the continuing high standard of results at Barnhill Community High. “I am very proud of our students’ outstanding achievements. Once again Barnhill students have excelled and have secured places at top universities. These results reflect the hard work and determination of students, families and staff”.
Most students have already confirmed places at top universities across the country including Imperial College, UCL, Kings College London, LSE, Southampton, and Exeter.
Thursday morning saw nervous students arriving early at the school to collect their results and although there were many tears, they were mostly of joy and relief! The Sports Hall was full of excited chatter as students compared results when the envelopes were ripped open! Barnhill staff were on hand to help with advice about what to do next with their careers and provided one-to-one interviews.

Arpita will study Business Management at Durham University whilst Sinthujah has accepted a place at UCL to study Chemistry.
