Year 13 results continue to rise for the 3rd year running!
The January 2015 league tables have once again shown Barnhill students are performing above the National Average.
Our Year 13 Results have been rapidly increasing, and 2014 saw our highest results so far. Particularly pleasing were the A – A* grades which were 8% above the national average.
One of our many achievers, Mazin Seid-Ahmed achieved a clean sweep of three A* (our first student to do so!) and is now studying Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College.

Other students have gone on to study at top universities across the country including Imperial College, Birmingham, Kings College London, LSE, Southampton and Exeter.
GCSE Results were mixed this year. Our headline figures for 2014 dipped below our expectations and the success of 2013. This was in part due to the many changes that hit the league tables this year, and which have been widely commented upon in the national news.
At the same time, we were pleased that overall progress was good and in line with the National Averages. Alongside this, we were incredibly proud of individual successes, including Lorita Krasniqi, who with 13 A*s was the highest performing student in Hillingdon.
We have also recently received excellent news about our next set of results for summer 2015. Following the English GCSE results from the November exams, there are already almost 100 students in the year group securely on track to gain 5 A* - C grades including English and Maths. To recognise this achievement at such an early stage of Year 11, they were all awarded a Gold Tie in a special assembly last week.
