There are three ways of becoming a student at Barnhill:
- Admission at the start of Year 7
- In-Year Admissions during Years 7 to 10
- Admission at the start of Year 12
Admission at the Start of Year 7 (Year 6 - 7 Transfer)
An open evening is held in the Autumn term for students wishing to join Barnhill Community High as part of the normal Year 6-7 in September of each year.
At this event, you can collect further information, hear the Headteacher’s presentation, talk to staff and students, and see the building and facilities.
There will also be tours of the school on our Open Mornings. Further information will be provided in September.
You can download our 6–7 application form here and at your Local Authority. Please note and comply with published deadlines.
Contact our Admissions Officer, Mrs Powell for more details, telephone 020 8839 0647, or email at email@example.com.
There are 240 places in Year 7, and last year there were 526 applications.
In-Year Admissions (Years 7 - 10)
Applications for In-year Admissions must be made directly to the school. Applicants should complete the school’s application form, providing all requested information.
If no spaces are available for the required year group your child will be placed on the appropriate waiting list.
When a place becomes available the school will contact the parent/guardian of the child who is at the top of the waiting list.
If you would like further information about In-Year Admissions contact Mrs Powell, Admissions Officer by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by post.
